Visitor management system project report
In today's computer technology environment, the effect of IT plays a significant part in all real-time systems. Various management are in place to help the company organization achieve profit, standards, and future commercial growth. The VMS is important for monitoring how many visitors are there, what the objective of the facility visit will be, and who will be put in the block listed record due to rule violation. This technology also protects the building's overall security. The goal of this system is to synchronize the organization's business and visitors in order to achieve a wonderful connection among organizations globally. The background was compiled from many papers that discussed similar subjects and were connected to the system. In addition, the limitations and analyses of the present system have been addressed in order to demonstrate the organization's demands for a new system. In part three, we will go through the project planning, covering the feasibility study, Gantt chart, and software methodology in specific stages. Stepping on functional and nonfunctional requirements of the system, it is covered in the same chapter, as well as the system steps in the implementation part of section four, and finally with clear and direct conclusion and recommendations in section five with future work of the visitor management system, which will be added after the system is implanted in the organization and other related organizations.

Supermarket management system project report
The purpose of this project was to develop a Supermarket management system for Menyenikwa Main Supermarket. The researcher collected data through interviewing the company's employees and customers/clients met at the Supermarket's main branch, and observing how the previous system was functioning from where I based myself to come up with the project report and system. Because of the nature of this study, data was further collected from secondary sources like literature review. Results from data collected indicated that the system being used was inefficient in tracking, storage and retrieval of supermarket sales and stock information which led to delays in decision making for the management. Therefore to solve the above problem I designed, implemented, tested and validated a well-functioning Supermarket management system for Menyenikwa Main Supermarket. The system developed is now able to efficiently track, store and retrieve supermarket sales against stock information in a timely and convenient fashion, thus decision making was enhanced. The research examined ways of expanding the product selling systems to improve of existing systems.

Stadium tickets management system project report
The problem identified is the absence of a Stadium ticketing system to assist the clients and spectators in the process of ticketing. This comes along with problems such as fake tickets, poor security and overcrowding at the gates. The proposed solution is to develop a web-based system to help in management of the stadiums during games. The proposed system will have features such as a log in page, a sign-up page, a home page and a contact us page where the users can reach out in case of a problem. To avoid fake tickets, the system will have the purchased tickets sent to the spectators’ emails as soon as the purchase is complete. Thereafter, during entry into the stadium, the tickets will be verified and the spectators will go in. The system design approach for this proposed system is Object Oriented Analysis and Design, and the methodology is Rapid Application Development (RAD); this methodology allows for feedback from the user. It also allows the system to be developed in modules. The programming language used is PHP as it is a web-based application system. MySQL has been used for the database due to its reliable speed and compatibility with web development.

School exams results management system project report
The proposed system will monitor student academic progress by automating results processing and analysis of exams while maintaining a database of student scores. Currently, schools use multiple software to achieve the basic task of analyzing student performance; that is spreadsheet software for handling student’s scores and a different tool for preparing student reports. Uses of these systems require knowledge on how to use them such as knowledge of spreadsheet formulas. The proposed system will store a database of students’ performance from the beginning of their academic journey, making it easier to track the trends in an individual student’s. This in turn leads to informed and efficient student mentoring. By automating the results analysis, time wasted in manual computation of the results will be reclaimed and harnessed in dispensing quality education by increasing contact hours between learners and teachers, hence boosting student’s morale.

Motara Village Park is a restaurant which located near Keimbu expressway interchange in Kisii. Currently they are offering their services to large number of customers daily. Their customer base is growing day by day because of their location and quality of their food. Even though this is a small restaurant, the service they are offering is huge. With the growing customer base, it is difficult to offer services to all of them manually. Therefore, this restaurant requires to move to a computerized solution. This will help to run their operations smoothly and in more efficient manner. Suggested system allows Village Park restaurant to increase the scope of the business with the little staff they have. As this is a growing business which is in its first stage, they still cannot go for more staff. Current trend is also going for an online solution. This system allows restaurant to quickly and easily manage online menus and customers can navigate and place orders really fast. Restaurant staff also quickly view orders and prepare orders without previous miscommunication. Graphical interfaces are really efficient and effective for both customers and restaurant staff. For the managers and owners this system is very effective because they can view their requirements in reporting module. This system has used Object Oriented approaches have been used in developing. For analysis and design, Uniform resource modeling was used. PHP, HTML, JavaScript has used to develop the website. MySQL has been used to create to databases. Lanka hosting space was used to host the website. Any web browser such as Edge, Chrome, Firefox can be used to access the website in any environment such as windows or Linux.

The rental property is a property from which the owner receives payment from the occupants known as tenants for using the property. It may be either residential or commercial. Residential property is where people live while commercial property is for business purposes. Investors need to be aware of the current market trends and what the tenants want. Management of these rental properties can be difficult at times. The landlord is tasked with offering a great property for rent, search for tenant, repair and maintain the apartment, collect rent, and do marketing, among others. Some landlords also own multiple rental property businesses across the country. Thus, it is not easy to manage the rental property properly and efficiently either through the owner or agent companies. However, just like any other business, it needs publicity, so that it gets more tenant applications to increase the revenue. Some Landlords for a very long time have delegated some of their duties to agents whose main attention is focused on collecting rent. This project, therefore, proposes a rental property management system to market and advertise rental property. Advertisement starts before the current tenant moves out when they serve a notice. The proposal expounds more on the challenges in the sector, works that have been done before regarding the challenges being faced and how the project proposes to reduce the challenges facing rental property management. The system will be a web-based application that can be accessed through desktop devices and through user mobile phones. Tools that may be used in the development of the web-based system will be sublime text or Atom that will be the IDE to be used. Languages that will be applicable in this IDE is HTML, PHP, and JavaScript. This is so because they can be easily implemented in the said IDEs. The DBMS to be used for the system will be MySQL. This is preferred because it is easy to use as compared to oracle.

Real estate management system project report
This is a system of the computerized approach to improve record keeping and management decision-making practices of a real estate agency. The system was designed to improve on the efficiency of such a company’s management through easy and quick access to all records. The computer package is named REMIS. The REMIS system has modules that provide tools to analyze data and make inferences about the data for management decision-making. REMIS also provides a centralized management of a company’s data by storing it in a database system where the data is managed by the database management system and all access to the data is through the database management system providing a key to effective data processing. This also reduces redundancies, making data management more efficient. The system takes in sample/population data and calculates descriptive statistics like mean, variance, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, and the mean absolute deviation. This helps avoid the possible human errors of computing statistics thereby becoming reliable. The system also takes in sample bivariate values for random variables and makes calculations for the Pearson product moment linear correlation coefficient and the linear regression line that can be used for testing the relationship that exists between two random variables and forecasting respectively. The package also takes in table values to calculate Chi-square tests, a non-parametric test of statistical significance for bivariate tabular analysis. Any appropriately performed test of statistical significance lets you know the degree of confidence you can have in accepting or rejecting a hypothesis. The REMIS also offers secure storage of a company’s data by ensuring that only authorized users use the system and providing backup facilities for the data. In summary, a real time record keeping and analysis system was realized from the study. Currently, prisoner’s records are maintained in a very rudimentary way in the form of manual files and registers. This method of data management often resulted in human error, delay to retrieve information etc. Thus, An Prison Management System was designed and implemented to manage prisoner’s records for the Kilgoris prison. The project was implemented successfully and the result obtained provides a single management system which integrates all the information about a prisoner in a single profile and can easily be accessed which improved the overall efficiency of prison management.

They are administrator, cashier, data entry operator and normal user who can logging the system as different user roles to perform their functions separately. Administrator has all privileges of the system. Create users, generate reports for managerial decisions, manage employee attendance are some administrator tasks. In addition, the system will show a notification about expiry dates of drugs and stock ending details. It is easy to handle stock management through the software rather than working with paper records. Customers are the main asset of the business. So, the system will help to reduce waiting time of the customers. They can check the availability of the items before they come to the pharmacy by using the search facility provided in the pharmacy web site.

This project presents a theoretical framework of hotel online reservation system, it discussed about different scholar’s perspective of online reservation system, the aim of this project to develop an online booking system for customers to make reservation at their convenient time because currently, Ufanisi Hotel uses a manual based system to keep record of customer’s reservation and make new bookings. This project discussed the tool and technology used in developing the proposed system (the system has a front end by using html, Css, JavaScript to display the content structure and a back end of database using MySQL and PHP). Two online reservation systems were compared to identify their similarities and differences. A number of development methodologies were discussed and why one of the methodologies was chosen for this project. Methods used to gather the requirement specification was also discussed and how the researcher will use this as a guideline in developing the proposed system. Unified Modelling Language Diagrams were created describing each system. Demonstration of different webpages available on the website was discussed and then an evaluation was conducting using two methods to evaluate the website.

Almost all collages and higher institutions of learning, includes some form of assignment in their assessment for each courses. The assignments are allocated manually by the instructor to the students, which are either carried out in groups or by individual student. This manual management of assignment is becoming obsolete due to its inconvenience, inefficiency, and low accuracy. Currently, web-based management systems have been widely implemented due to the development of Web technologies. Therefore in other to effectively manage these assignment process, a well-designed assignment submission system is needed, hence the need for an online assignment submission system to facilitate the allocation, collection and marking of the assignments scripts. This project introduces a web-based Assignment Management System, which automates all the manual aspects of the conventional way of handling assignment. Its friendly user interfaces allow instructors and students to handle their assignments in a convenient, efficient, and simplified manner. In addition, this system also has very good features of portability and extensibility. The aim of this study was to create a web based online assignment submission system and the objective of the system is to facilitate easy interaction of Instructors and students for assignment allocation, submission and grading purposes. The system was created to eliminate the traditional process of allocating an assignment and collecting the feedback for the assignment. The system was implemented as a web based application through the useful tools of hypertext mark-up language, cascading style sheet and Java Script as the front end design while using MySQL database for storing and retrieving data as the back end tool. The implementation of this system was aimed at downloading and uploading online assignments for students, with each interface having information about the instructions and its description for easy access. The main goal of this project is to design and implement online assignment submission and provide an interface use for uploading and downloading assignment by instructors and the submission by the students, while the instructor also perform the task of grading each student submission automatically. The most obvious advantage offered by this online assignment submission system is that it offers an easy and faster transmission of assignments between both the instructor and the students than using the manual process.

Online certificate verification system project report
Online Certification Verification system is an online system designed to computerize the process of verifying and authenticating Kisii National Polytechnic University’s issued academic documents considering the problems faced by doing this manually. Document Verification is the process of establishing the authenticity, validity, and accuracy of something such as the verification of official documents. Verification of academic certificates is one of the important research areas today. In this study, the documents in reference were the issued academic documents of Kisii National Polytechnic. This study was based on an effort towards the elimination of fake certificate academic documents or certificates. The study contributes towards solving problems in academic fraud. The manual system was studied carefully and relevant people were interviewed to collect the required information. The designed Certificate Verification system (prototype) allows easy retrieval of accurate and timely information basing on the supplied query for an effective and efficient academic document verification process. The system is secure, user friendly and can be accessed 24/7 from anywhere on demand. The system was designed in PHP. The study also focused on the application of the developed prototype as proof of concept, the system was able to verify the academic documents in question online using the unique serial number on each transcript matching it with sample data in the database. Kisii National Polytechnic requires such a system due to high demand of such services in the current high rate of advances in Technology use worldwide.
