Online compliant management system project report
This study aimed at the design and implementation of an electronic complaint management system for Citizen Collage. The existing system is characterized with several anomalies such as inaccurate reports, lack of privacy in lodging complaints, lack of adequate feedback mechanism and unnecessary delays. The proposed system was designed to overcome all these challenges found in the existing system. Data relating to complains Record System was collected from the students of citizen collage, which was used to design a model for complaint System. The system was implemented using PHP, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL. The study concludes that the computerized complaint Record system, if deployed, would efficiently eliminate all the challenges associated with the existing system of complaint System at Citizen collage, and increase the productivity of the administrative processes of the Collage at large.

Clinic management system project report
This project is a clinic management system that will be used to solve the current problems that facing by the local clinic in Kenya. Clinic Management System is a web-based platform system. The main objectives of this project is to improve the business process of the clinic in Kenya by using the information technology and also enhance the current clinic management software in the market. The scope of this project include systematic scheduling in queue list, appointment module with SMS notification, patient’s registration using MyKad reader and generate medical certificate (MC) to print out. Systematic scheduling can sort the patient in the queue fairly and display the waiting time of each patient. Patient can make appointment and notification will be send to their phone. Besides, patient can use MyKad during the registration at the counter which is quite convenient and save time. Other than that, MC can be generated and print out on the paper and doctor just need to sign the MC and chop with his name. As this is a web-based platform system, C# is the programming language and the project is developed under ASP.Net framework. The software development methodology that used in this project is phased development because of fast implementation and short time schedule. The clinic management system can divide into few phases and each phase consist of few modules which can easily develop and build up the system in short time.

Church management system project report
Gekomu SDA church has a large number of Christians who attend church congregation. These methods of maintaining records have not been efficient enough especially during mode of operation when most of the attending the church because the population is increasing. The process of with the use of questionnaires, interviews, observation and document reviews, data was collected from project stakeholders and analyzed. Data flow diagrams and Entity relationship diagrams were used to accomplish system analysis and design. The system was implemented using Apache web server, Mysql database server, Hypertext Preprocessor, Hypertext markup language, Cascading style sheets and JavaScript. System testing and validation was also done by allowing users of the system interact with it using test data. Findings showed that most of the church clerk is unsatisfied with the current modes of keeping to the church I agree that a church management system can improve the process record management. The result of the project was an online church management system for Gekomu SDA Church) and researchers recommend the School to implement the system that provides relief of the long endured problems of the current modes of payment at the school.

Charity plays an important role in Ideal Life Vision (ILV), it contributes to their financial status and supports development projects in the society, enhance community development and help those who are less capable or affected by pandemics such as floods, diseases el cetera. Most Ideal Life Vision experience a lot of difficulty in getting donations and funds for charity this is as a result of not getting sufficient number of donors who can donate funds or any other items. Some donors demand certain standards from the organization to prove whether they are legal organization when requesting for charity. There is lack of efficiency in which donations are being tracked which leads to lack of trust from donors. The main aim of this project is to come up with a technological solution by developing an information system to address the problem faced by Ideal Life Vision or charity based organizations. The system will be accessed by the administrator, Ideal Life Vision and donors. All users are able to register and login into the system. During registration of a non-governmental organization, it has to submit its registration number in the system proving it’s a legal organization for approval. Once approved by the admin, it will get an email notification of approval and it will be able to login. Upon logging in, they are able to send requests to many donors for donations. The project will also enhance the rate of tracking donations and transactions that have been made. A structured system analysis and design approach was used in solving the problem. Tools that were be used are; HTML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, XAMPP and MySQL. The project will benefit the organizations by finding a lot of ease in getting donors and keeping track of all donations that have been made.

Although this is a standardized quality Reception hall it is not realizing its maximum potential due to delay of the activities of the current redundant manual system. When a guest books a function, all the booking details are recorded in files. Calculation of bills and booked menu items are done manually too. Due to the difficulty in location of guests files because its need a large storage space, it is extremely difficult to staff to manage them efficiently. Also difficulty in data analysis, human errors, poor communication between departments and unauthorized modification of data due to low security levels are main problems that are identified in the existing system. Because of that it is difficult to handle day to day functions of the hotel manually.

Umbwa Kali car wash is facing a problem of poor management and the sharing of information with its customers. All activities and services advancement reports in Umbwa Kali Car Wash are done manually; and this causes a waste of time and outperformance of the car wash. The purpose of this work is to design and implement a web based application which will help this car wash to manage all problems relating to the communication between customers, employees and car wash staff. This application offers the ability of communicating with customers and car wash management quickly. It also offers the owner of car wash the ability to view all activity processes done by managers on daily basis through bill reports. For the development of this project two methodologies will be used: the research methodology and the software engineering methodology. Research methodology consists of interviewing and reviewing and the literature necessary to carry out this study. The population of this study is 60 including 40 employees of the carwash and 20 customers. Employees are many compared to customers because most of time customers are used to leave their car to the car wash to pick them back when they have been cleaned, this was the main challenge to the researcher because to find customers present to the car wash was not easy.

Therefore it has been used by not only usual people, but also by car dealers and retailers want to easily sell their cars securely and for accountability. This system has achieved the objectives of this study by designing and developing an online system using HTML, PHP and JavaScript. This has saved a lot of time for system evolution since it won’t call for coming up with new requirements. Besides the incremental model will be used which unlike the waterfall model is efficient for this project since it is of a smaller scale.

Currently use of mobile telephone is widespread and considerable penetration has been achieved. In Kenya the application of bus ticketing system is yet to be explored. This comes in the light that Kenya’s bus travel business has grown steadily over time without matching improvement in ticketing or booking services. For long there has complaints and dissatisfaction among the public because travelers move long distances to book tickets and suffer congestion at bus terminals, unnecessary time wasting as a result of misplaced tickets and unauthorized agents who can cause financial loses. Ticket booking at bus companies is inherently time consuming, inconvenient and sometimes frustrating for time conscious passengers and therefore there is need to develop efficient mechanism that operates through an increasingly available technology like the mobile phone and specifically through a widely used application like SMS. The study examined SMS bus booking reduced terminal congestion, minimize time wastage and eliminate unnecessary expenditure. Bus ticketing is the process whereby customers can order, pay for, obtain and validate tickets from any location and at any time using mobile phones. The passenger downloads the essential program onto his [her mobile phone. This program allows the passenger to press a button to send an SMS to server indicating their travel details (Departure Date, Departure time, Destination Town, Departure Town).

Today developing countries Kenya inclusive have been facing problems in birth certificates processing and their records management which has always resulted from excessive corruption, poor security, inappropriate records management criteria and forgery especially by aging government employees who are always struggling to secure their job positions before retiring. In Kenya the same problem has been experienced in the government employees who utilize the weaknesses in the current manual way of document handling, to keep on falsifying about their true age in the office of the registrar general. This has been as a result of the registrar generates office failure to embrace information technology to help them redesign their business processes by automating some of their operation procedures. Most low developing countries are facing a number of problems in birth and death certificates processing and production these include; bureaucracy, bribery, corruption, forgery, security and poor records management which is currently done manually. This makes the processing of documents slow and more hectic. Therefore, the government of Kenya needs to come up with an automated birth and death certificates records management system to help reduce these problems through embracing information and communication technology (ICT). Therefore there is need to carry out research so as to come out with a secure and a more effective automated system to streamline some business processes such as registration and applications to improve efficiency, enhance planning and decision making An Automated Online Births and Deaths Records Management System is an Information System that serves to capture, store, retrieve and disseminate information about both births and deaths, process certificates and records management in the office of the administrator general of Kenya. It offers a means of information sharing as well as automating the existing manually driven record keeping facility.

Bloodbank management system project report
Blood transfusion safety is a relevant and significant public health issue in the Kisii blood donation Centre. Since most blood banks are still in paper-based system, various disadvantages are experienced by various stakeholders, which endanger the lives of patients and deter the healthcare system. As such, the researchers aimed to design, develop, and implement an online blood bank management system (BBMS). This web-based application allows hospitals in Oman to make inventories of their blood bags online, subsequently, allowing each hospital to check the availability of blood bags anytime. The researchers designed and administered a questionnaire that assess the perceptions of various stakeholders in both manual-based and BBMS. Based on the findings and results, it was found out that these stakeholders perceived online blood bank management system is much better than the manual system. Therefore, with the use of online blood bank management system, blood transfusion process is safe and secured. Threats on improper blood donor documentation, or misplaced records will be totally eradicated. Also, processes involving recording about blood donors, blood bag collection, storage, and inventory will be systematized and organized, hence, improving the healthcare management for blood banks.

Built on an Arduino-Uno microcontroller platform, the system integrates various sensors, including gas sensors, humidity and temperature sensors, to continuously monitor air quality. By ensuring a clean and safe environment for occupants, the system particularly benefits vulnerable groups such as the elderly and children. As technology rapidly evolves from old slide phones to today’s smartphones, tablet computers, and even artificial intelligence, it profoundly impacts our surroundings. We find ourselves increasingly reliant on these technological advancements, shaping our daily lives and interactions. However, these advancements have also led to the deterioration of our living environment, with air pollution emerging as a significant issue. Poor air quality has caused respiratory problems for many new-borns, and numerous smog-themed disaster films reflect the challenges the world must face. This project, titled “Design and Implementation of an Indoor Air Quality Monitoring System,” utilizes an Arduino, LCD, gas sensor, humidity and temperature sensor, servomotor, buzzer, and GSM module to automatically monitor and improve the air quality inside living spaces. The system is a carefully designed solution addressing the social issue of poor air quality in any room. By implementing this innovative approach, we aim to provide a clean and safe air flow, preventing diseases such as asthma and ensuring the health and well-being of all occupants, especially the elderly and children.

My project is designed to ensure security based on a Smart home firefighting system. This idea comes after observing some problems and risks caused by fire. Therefore, a smart home firefighting system was designed as one of the solutions needed for building protection because it uses some components to do it tasks based on its design and implementation composed of a smoke sensor used to sense the smoke in the serve room The project is used to notify user about the fire accident at home and correct those fire by using water pump in avoiding the absence of people and people’s goods. Otherwise, user can receive the short message about their house wherever they are using mobile phone. It is designed to reduce the risk of more severe fire damage when the fire broke and make it minimum. With this system, it can help users in many aspects, especially to notify the user to make a call and send a message to user, so you can take early steps that can overcome the blaze spread rapidly The hardware implementation in this project is a smoke sensor, GSM, buzzer, microcontroller and water pump. The result from this project is useful to be implemented in home and industrial to help in the risk of death and injuries furthermore to avoid the losses that need to be borne by the victims.

DESIGN OF AUTOMETED GAS LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM- PROJECT REPORT ELECTRICAL TELECOMMUNICATION OPTION
This project presents the design and implementation of automated Gas leak detector and ventilation system, aimed at enhancing safety in environments where LPG is used. The system utilizes an Arduino Uno microcontroller, an MQ2 gas sensor, an SG90 micro servo motor, a fan, and a buzzer to detect gas leaks, alert users, and initiate a ventilation process. The MQ2 sensor detects LPG concentrations and triggers the fan and buzzer when dangerous levels are detected, ensuring timely mitigation of potential hazards. Key findings from the system's evaluation showed that the gas detection mechanism was effective, with the MQ2 sensor detecting LPG concentrations as low as 500 ppm and triggering the fan and alarm at 1000 ppm. The system demonstrated a response time of less than 5 seconds, and the ventilation system reduced gas concentration by 50% within the first 5 minutes of operation. The components used, including the servo motor and fan, functioned reliably throughout the testing phase. The project successfully meets its objective of responsive, and reliable LPG leak detection system. However, improvements such as enhanced sensor sensitivity, integration of wireless communication for remote monitoring, and the addition of features like automatic gas supply shutdown are recommended for future work to broaden the system’s applicability and functionality.

DESIGN OF A SMART RUNWAY ILLUMINATION RESEARCH PROJECT REPORT- ELECTRICAL TELECOMMUNICATION OPTION
There is always a need to improve technology for safety, efficiency, and reliability in aviation and in operating airports. This is under this project on " Implementation of a Smart Runway Illumination: Radar-Controlled Lighting System" that has noted most of the limitations mentioned against the traditional runway lighting systems. This research mainly aims to develop an intelligent runway lighting system that can use real-time radar information in combination with highintensity LED light and smart control algorithms to adapt to oncoming aircraft information, including its position, speed, and direction, and environmental factors. It consists of advanced LED and radar technologies, with a developed smart control algorithm that allows runway illumination to be adjusted in real-time, optimizing lighting conditions for aircraft at landing or take-off. Research has found that the smart runway illumination system not only deals with the drawbacks of the existing systems but also helps in overcoming high-energy consumption. The integration of radar information with such an LED lighting system by the use of intelligent algorithms is a significantly more reliable and efficient lighting system, ensuring the overall safety of the airport's operation. This paper is of high relevance in proposing a possible solution toward the operational constraints of the conventional runway lighting systems, with further potential to save energy and improve safety. Installation of this system in airports to enhance operational efficiency and safety is recommended. Future work that is carried out to study the integration of other environmental data and to free this system for other uses in the airport would greatly beneficial the airport operations.
