Description
focus has over time been on competitiveness and productivity. Remote working has also been adopted to allow employees work from home. In such arrangement, workforce welfare is neglected and various health problems are reported, causing less employee engagement, morale, and dissatisfaction and suboptimal outputs. Consequently, even the adoption of technology turns out counterproductive in firms. This study sought to determine the effect of remote working on employee wellness by analyzing employees in non-governmental organizations in Nairobi City County, Kenya. The study's specific objectives were to determine the effect of job-related factors, organizational factors, and work-life balance on employee wellness. The study followed a positivist research paradigm and applied a crosssectional descriptive research design to quantitatively describe the relationships between the study variables. From the total population of 80,229 employees in the registered nongovernmental organizations in Kenya, a sample of 398 was targeted. To achieve adequate response rate, the study targeted 7 respondents, which is 1 senior-level, 3 mid-level and 3 junior-level employees from each of the 60 international and national non-governmental organizations based in Nairobi County. Therefore, stratified random sampling was employed for an even representation of the 60 organizations. A convenient sampling technique was applied to choose participants based on availability. A pilot study targeting 40 employees from 6 organizations in Kiambu County was conducted. The firms used for pilot testing were not considered during the actual research. Adequate research quality concerning validity and reliability was achieved through Cronbach’s alpha. Data was analysed through SPSS. Regression analysis results indicated a weak relationship between the independent variables: job-related factors, organizational factors and work-life balance and the employee wellness. Based on coefficients, both Job-related and organizational factors were significant at 0.05 significant level. Similarly, work-life balance had a positive, statistically significant influence on employee wellness. The study concludes that job-related factors, organizational factors, and work-life balance have a weak joint effect on employee wellness. Work-life balance has a positive, statistically significant correlation with employee wellness while job-related and organizational factors have significant influence on employee wellness. Organizations should enhance job-related and organizational factors to enhance employee work-life balance which in turn improves employee wellness. Further research can be implemented to test the mediational role of work-life balance in the relationship between job-related and organizational factors and employee wellness.

ve in a jet age when results are expected to turn in speedily as evident in the various fields of study such as engineering, accounting, architecture , medicine to mention a few, where this concept of Computers has made tremendous impact. It is therefore imperative to embrace and appreciate it for the fact that it has made the work of humans a lot easier, faster with a greater degree of accuracy and precision. Computer Technology had also an enormous impact on Education in the 21 century, and this concept of computers is life made easy in itself exacting a kind of intelligence that transcends human ability naturally. With the availability of computer system, most institution has access to internet facilities which is also a necessity, Universities though still uses papers and manual process for managing internships and student projects adapting the traditional way. Manual process means, the student or intern’s candidate need to fill a paper form, and also need to submit it by hand to the supervisor they have chosen. During the end of study project, intern’s need to keep their supervisor updated about their daily routine of the project and the work progress by writing it and pastes any attachment. Finally, the final work will be examined by university supervisor and a jury of professors and professionals. Our Internship Management System is a management system built to automate the process of collecting, reviewing and managing applications for internships as well as managing the ongoing lifecycle of the project

Online assignment management system project report - ICT/computer science
Almost all collages and higher institutions of learning, includes some form of assignment in their assessment for each courses. The assignments are allocated manually by the instructor to the students, which are either carried out in groups or by individual student. This manual management of assignment is becoming obsolete due to its inconvenience, inefficiency, and low accuracy. Currently, web-based management systems have been widely implemented due to the development of Web technologies. Therefore in other to effectively manage these assignment process, a well-designed assignment submission system is needed, hence the need for an online assignment submission system to facilitate the allocation, collection and marking of the assignments scripts.
This project introduces a web-based Assignment Management System, which automates all the manual aspects of the conventional way of handling assignment. Its friendly user interfaces allow instructors and students to handle their assignments in a convenient, efficient, and simplified manner. In addition, this system also has very good features of portability and extensibility. The aim of this study was to create a web based online assignment submission system and the objective of the system is to facilitate easy interaction of Instructors and students for assignment allocation, submission and grading purposes. The system was created to eliminate the traditional process of allocating an assignment and collecting the feedback for the assignment. The system was implemented as a web based application through the useful tools of hypertext mark-up language, cascading style sheet and Java Script as the front end design while using MySQL database for storing and retrieving data as the back end tool. The implementation of this system was aimed at downloading and uploading online assignments for students, with each interface having information about the instructions and its description for easy access. The main goal of this project is to design and implement online assignment submission and provide an interface use for uploading and downloading assignment by instructors and the submission by the students, while the instructor also perform the task of grading each student submission automatically. The most obvious advantage offered by this online assignment submission system is that it offers an easy and faster transmission of assignments between both the instructor and the students than using the manual process.

ABSTRACT:
Online room booking System was developed to be used by hotel customers and for better management of the hotel in Room booking process. It is used to- give facility to the user. It was also developed to replace the manual system that was used before. There have been many problems during use manual system, like data redundancy, lost or damage.
The scopes that exist in this system was booking online room, make an inquiry using system, generate report for the hotel, make a checklist and make an ordering using system that provided in this hotel.
Data used in this study was collected using observation, reviewing of existing documents and interview methods. Interviews were conducted using interview guides. The tool was implemented using MySQL database software and the PHP programming language. The tool was tested and validated using sample data got from the Malika Hotel. This tool can be useful at the Hotel in speeding up the process of determining booking the status of clients requests submitted.
The system will be a web-based application that can be accessed through desktop devices and through user mobile phones. Tools that may be used in the development of the web-based system will be sublime text that will be the IDE to be used. Languages that will be applicable in this IDE is HTML, PHP, and JavaScript. This is so because they can be easily implemented in the said IDEs. The DBMS to be used for the system will be MySQL. For source code call 0723316663
