To introduce students to Nuclear and Radiation Chemistry. The course is designed for all students taking Chemistry, Education science and even environmental Science as prerequisite to any further advanced courses in Radiation and Nuclear chemistry

The course is intended to familiarize students with the various pollutants and their interaction within the environment. A detailed review of the chemical concepts of environmental chemistry will be tackled and advanced applications such as ozone depletion, treatment of pollutants and green chemistry. A detailed account of the chemical processes of the atmosphere, lithosphere and hydrosphere and effects of pollutants on these processes and the biosphere will be reviewed.
