This project is a clinic appointment and booking system that will be used to solve the current problems that facing by the local clinics .Clinic appointment and booking System is a web-based platform system. The main objectives of this project is to improve the business process appointment and booking of the clinic in Kenya by using the information technology and also enhance the current clinic management software in the market. The scope of this project include systematic scheduling in queue list, appointment module with SMS notification, patient’s registration using MyKad reader and generate medical certificate (MC) to print out. Systematic scheduling can sort the patient in the queue fairly and display the waiting time of each patient. Patient can make appointment and notification will be send to their phone. Besides, patient can use MyKad during the registration at the counter which is quite convenient and save time. Other than that, MC can be generated and print out on the paper and doctor just need to sign the MC and chop with his name. As this is a web-based platform system, php is the programming language and the project is developed under Sublime text framework. The software development methodology that used in this project is phased development because of fast implementation and short time schedule. The clinic appointment and booking system can divide into few phases and each phase consist of few modules which can easily develop and build up the system in short time.

The purpose of the roads on construction sites, also referred to as site roads, is to enable unobstructed internal transport and timely supply of both the construction site and construction process with materials. They connect storage areas, workshops and plants on the construction site with the place where works on the structure are performed. The quality of site road construction depends on the quantity, type and duration of the traffic they will need to withstand. When solving the issues of internal transport, it is important for the transport to be compatible with construction processes. Transport must be adapted to construction so that it conforms to the necessary dynamics of the construction process. It is possible to determine the trajectories of movement of construction machines and to analyze the swept path of vehicles through the planned routes by using computer programs for analyzing horizontal paths of vehicles. The goal of the swept path analysis of construction vehicles is to maintain unobstructed work dynamics. Site roads are built in accordance with legal and technical regulatory requirements in order to enable unhindered internal transport for vehicles on construction sites and safety for people participating in the construction process, as well as to ensure visibility and to preserve the quality and quantity of transported materials needed to build the structure.

Subsequently, a computer-aided program was designed to bring about improvement in the care of individual patients, taking the advantage of computer speed, storage and retrieved facilities. The software designed will take care of patient’s registration, Booking, treatment and payments. The programming language employed in this work was web based programming which included use of PHP, CSS and HTML.

Bookstore management system would improve the efficiency and productivity of the daily functions of the business, and also would strengthen the suppliers – business - customers? relationship which leads to adding competitive advantage to the business in for future progress. The online distributed nature of the system will be very helpful to expand their business in the future as well.

This project report seeks to provide a solution for the farm owners who lack up to date records from their farm managers on the dairy farm activities daily. The problem experienced is that it becomes hectic for the farm owners to keep track of whatever is going on in their farms when they are far away as it is done manually and at times it takes long for the farm managers to update the owners on what is going on due to the workload they have. There is also possible loss of data which cannot be repeated as there is usually only one set of records. It will help the farm owners to get reliable reports which will help them plan better on where to use their expenses better and how to improve their farms to run more effectively. It will also be used for accountability by the farm owners so that they know exactly what their farm managers are doing in the farm and how exactly the expenses are being used. The research methodology used is Software prototyping because it breaks the project into smaller and manageable sections and can test the system with the users of the system itself which helps to identify the mistakes that cannot by identified by the programmer. It also ensures that several tests are done before the final product is made which ensures that both the customer needs and functionality are met. The system being mobile based ensures that the records will be captured when one is offline and once there is internet the new data will be updated in the cloud. It also ensures that the data is available throughout. Tools that were used in the project include java programming language and firebase database tools. In conclusion, the project will benefit the farmers as they will be provided with a reliable, secure and effective record keeping application.

Currently the students wish to access their information whenever needed. The project will be able to help students access their information and interact with their lecturers through the system, Lecturers will use less time in interacting with their students, know the number of their students in their class. Students' records will be easy to access through any Computer in the office and the process will help the Administrator to keep school records constantly updated with no need to look for hard copy files. The Administrator has full control to each and every user in the system.

In the development of this project a review of existing processes and systems was carried out, System modeling using UML diagrams, use case and sequence diagrams Database management system is used to create the database and using php for the backend, HTML and CSS for design, Ajax for Client-side scripting, Sublime text as the IDE for the implementation. The result and conclusion of this project is efficient management of recruitment processes and also provision of a medium in which people get to apply for jobs at their convenience.

The background was compiled from many papers that discussed similar subjects and were connected to the system. In addition, the limitations and analyses of the present system have been addressed in order to demonstrate the organization's demands for a new system. In part three, we will go through the project planning, covering the feasibility study, Gantt chart, and software methodology in specific stages. Stepping on functional and nonfunctional requirements of the system, it is covered in the same chapter, as well as the system steps in the implementation part of section four, and finally with clear and direct conclusion and recommendations in section five with future work of the visitor management system, which will be added after the system is implanted in the organization and other related organizations.

The purpose of this project was to develop a Supermarket management system for Menyenikwa Main Supermarket. The researcher collected data through interviewing the company's employees and customers/clients met at the Supermarket's main branch, and observing how the previous system was functioning from where I based myself to come up with the project report and system. Because of the nature of this study, data was further collected from secondary sources like literature review. Results from data collected indicated that the system being used was inefficient in tracking, storage and retrieval of supermarket sales and stock information which led to delays in decision making for the management. Therefore to solve the above problem I designed, implemented, tested and validated a well-functioning Supermarket management system for Menyenikwa Main Supermarket. The system developed is now able to efficiently track, store and retrieve supermarket sales against stock information in a timely and convenient fashion, thus decision making was enhanced. Their customer base is growing day by day because of their location and quality of their food. Even though this is a small restaurant, the service they are offering is huge. With the growing customer base, it is difficult to offer services to all of them manually. Therefore, this restaurant requires to move to a computerized solution. This will help to run their operations smoothly and in more efficient manner. Suggested system allows Village Park restaurant to increase the scope of the business with the little staff they have. As this is a growing business which is in its first stage, they still cannot go for more staff. Current trend is also going for an online solution. This system allows restaurant to quickly and easily manage online menus and customers can navigate and place orders really fast. Restaurant staff also quickly view orders and prepare orders without previous miscommunication. Graphical interfaces are really efficient and effective for both customers and restaurant staff. For the managers and owners this system is very effective because they can view their requirements in reporting module. This system has used Object Oriented approaches have been used in developing. For analysis and design, Uniform resource modeling was used. PHP, HTML, JavaScript has used to develop the website. MySQL has been used to create to databases. The system was developed to assist the management of Gusii Stadium in issuing ticket when the stadium was to be in use. The problem identified is the absence of a Stadium ticketing system to assist the clients and spectators in the process of ticketing. This comes along with problems such as fake tickets, poor security and overcrowding at the gates. The proposed solution is to develop a web-based system to help in management of the stadiums during games. The proposed system will have features such as a log in page, a sign-up page, a home page and a contact us page where the users can reach out in case of a problem. To avoid fake tickets, the system will have the purchased tickets sent to the spectators’ emails as soon as the purchase is complete. Thereafter, during entry into the stadium, the tickets will be verified and the spectators will go in. The system design approach for this proposed system is Object Oriented Analysis and Design, and the methodology is Rapid Application Development (RAD); this methodology allows for feedback from the user. It also allows the system to be developed in modules. The programming language used is PHP as it is a web-based application system. MySQL has been used for the database due to its reliable speed and compatibility with web development.

Uses of these systems require knowledge on how to use them such as knowledge of spreadsheet formulas. This method of data management often resulted in human error, delay to retrieve information etc. Thus, An Prison Management System was designed and implemented to manage prisoner’s records for the Kilgoris prison. The project was implemented successfully and the result obtained provides a single management system which integrates all the information about a prisoner in a single profile and can easily be accessed which improved the overall efficiency of prison management. The system was implemented using PHP MySQL CSS HTML and JavaScript.

This research project is aimed at computerizing all the records about Patients, Hospital and Doctors. In order to achieve this goal, a through System Study and investigation was carried out and data was collected and analyzed about the current system using document and data flow diagrams. The concept of report production has been computerized hence, no more delay in report generation to the Hospital, Patient and Doctors. Errors made on hand held calculators and dealt out completely. The method used to develop the system include iterative water full model approach, dataflow, logical and entity relationship diagram where used to design the system and finally the language used MySQL, PHP, HTML & CSS.

Online Certification Verification system is an online system designed to computerize the process of verifying and authenticating Kisii National Polytechnic University’s issued academic documents considering the problems faced by doing this manually. Document Verification is the process of establishing the authenticity, validity, and accuracy of something such as the verification of official documents. Verification of academic certificates is one of the important research areas today. In this study, the documents in reference were the issued academic documents of Kisii National Polytechnic. This study was based on an effort towards the elimination of fake certificate academic documents or certificates. The study contributes towards solving problems in academic fraud. The manual system was studied carefully and relevant people were interviewed to collect the required information. The designed Certificate Verification system (prototype) allows easy retrieval of accurate and timely information basing on the supplied query for an effective and efficient academic document verification process. The system is secure, user friendly and can be accessed 24/7 from anywhere on demand. The system was designed in PHP. The study also focused on the application of the developed prototype as proof of concept, the system was able to verify the academic documents in question online using the unique serial number on each transcript matching it with sample data in the database. Kisii National Polytechnic requires such a system due to high demand of such services in the current high rate of advances in Technology use worldwide.

Job application portal system The human resource departments in many Institutions have various processes which include checking employee attendance, disbursing payrolls, applying for jobs, handling company events and training programs, handling leave and absence requests and lastly, checking on employee welfare. These processes, however, are handled manually for example job application could become tedious due to the many processes that an applicant would have to undergo at the physical establishment in order to apply for a job of choice. Such manual handling of these processes was tiring and therefore cause inaccuracy and inefficiency. The developed solution was a web-based information system that would seek to automate these processes in the human resource department. It would be able to make job application easier for applicants and ensure that employees requesting leaves and absences would be able to do so by communicating to the right channels through the system. The system was developed using the prototyping methodology. Other tools that were used include PHP as the programming language, sublime text as the IDE , MySQL as the DBMS and usability testing as the testing method.
