Description

The document provides an introduction to legal systems and methods. It discusses that legal systems deal with the substance and procedures of rules that govern social behavior and resolve disputes. Legal methods refer to how those who make and apply law use the legal system to arrive at specific outcomes, using tools like interpretation. The document then discusses the role of law in society, explaining that as societies became more complex, legal rules also became more sophisticated to address changing needs. It also outlines different perspectives on defining law, such as legal positivism which emphasizes law as socially constructed, and natural law theory which sees inherent laws common to all societies.

DEVELOPMENT OF THE FACE
Face: The main development of the face occurs between the 4th and 8th weeks. Facial primordium Early in the 4th week, face is represented by an area around the mouth bounded cranially by the neural plate, caudally by the pericardial bulge and laterally by the mandibular precess of 1st pharyngeal arches. Facial development is induced by brain vesicles. Facial prominences In week 4 five facial prominences appear around stomodeum:-Single frontonasal prominence (FNP) above the stomodeum.-Paired maxillary prominences (Mx P) lateral to stomodeum.-Paired mandibular prominences (Md P) below stomodeum. The paired prominences are derivatives of the first pair of pharyngeal arches
