Description

The Structural and Architectural design G+7 buildings which include hotels, apartments, and head offices are the subject of this initiative. The goal is to reduce the building's negative environmental effects while optimising energy efficiency and occupant well-being through the use of eco-friendly materials and technologies. Important elements consist of: Sustainable Materials: Reducing reliance on conventional building materials by using bio-based composites, locally sourced lumber, and recycled materials. Energy efficiency is the use of high-performance insulation, solar panels, and passive design techniques to reduce energy use and dependency. All the chapters and other main points in this project are numbered to help those who may need to use it, to easily reach an interesting section by omitting others. This project also has been compiled referred to various document of many authors and by using equations provided in codes of practice, with a focus on British standard (BS). The analysis begins with the evaluation of all loads that are expected to be carried by the structure including its self-weight to determine the foundation’s dimensions. In the architectural design, the plans are conceived in order to show dimensions of building, and the shape of building also its height. About structural design, this project details only foundation by following BS 8110-1:1997 and BS 6399-1:1996. On the basis of the results, the detailed plans are presented. The design criteria were conducted mainly based on British Standards (BS). The PROKON software and excel spread sheet was used for some design of member but in the most part I have been using the manually way. Structural Design Details: 1. Slab Design: • The slab was designed with a cover of 25mm, a thickness of 30cm Provided reinforcement: As = 452mm² with 4T12 The slab was evaluated for deflection and deemed satisfactory, with both maximum positive and negative moments being adequately resisted. No shear reinforcement was required, as the shear stress (0.3 N/mm²) was well below the shear capacity (0.38 N/mm²). 2. Beam Design: • The beam was designed with a total height of 0.75cm, aligned with ly/12 and ly/8 requirements. • Reinforcement provided: 7T16 bars (1407mm²). 3. Column Design: • The most loaded column (C-C2) was designed as a square column with dimensions of 400mm x 400mm. Effective heights: 6000mm along the major axis, 3500mm along the minor axis. The column was classified as a braced short column. 4. Footing Design: • The footing was designed for a soil bearing capacity of 250 kN/m². • A square footing of 1.6m x 1.6m was selected, keeping the design stress within the soil’s bearing capacity. 5. Stair Design: • The stair was designed for a height of 3400mm between the ground and first floors, with a flight length of 3.3m at an angle of 27.9°. The design included 11 risers and 10 goings, each 3300mm in dimension. Moment for the flight: 30kNm. This detailed overview covers both the structural design aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with design standards while contributing to the growth of Camp Kisii’s urban landscape.

So there is need for a wide range of publicity and enabling direct order, processing and delivering of food through online system. For this system, there will be a system administrator who will have the rights to enter the menu with current prevailing prices.

Online Hotel Reservation System project report
This project presents a theoretical framework of hotel online reservation system, it discussed about different scholar’s perspective of online reservation system, the aim of this project to develop an online booking system for customers to make reservation at their convenient time because currently, Ufanisi Hotel uses a manual based system to keep record of customer’s reservation and make new bookings. This project discussed the tool and technology used in developing the proposed system (the system has a front end by using html, Css, JavaScript to display the content structure and a back end of database using MySQL and PHP). Two online reservation systems were compared to identify their similarities and differences. A number of development methodologies were discussed and why one of the methodologies was chosen for this project. Methods used to gather the requirement specification was also discussed and how the researcher will use this as a guideline in developing the proposed system. Unified Modelling Language Diagrams were created describing each system. Demonstration of different webpages available on the website was discussed and then an evaluation was conducting using two methods to evaluate the website.

Pharmacy sales and inventory system project report
This project illustrates the designing and implementation of a web based Pharmacy Sales and Inventory system for the. The primary aim of is to improve accuracy and enhance safety and efficiency in the pharmaceutical store by minimizing issues occur in day to day operations. Currently they are using a manual system which is very hard in handling. Managing the stock with paper records based on the expiry dates and the quantity available in the stock are some major problems identified in the problem domain. The system intends to minimize the workload of the staff and increase the value of the business to gain the competitive advantages in the pharmaceutical industry. The system allows different tasks for different users. They are administrator who can logging the system as different user roles to perform their functions separately. Administrator has all privileges of the system. Create users, generate reports for managerial decisions, manage employee attendance are some administrator tasks. In addition, the system will show a notification about expiry dates of drugs and stock ending details. It is easy to handle stock management through the software rather than working with paper records. Customers are the main asset of the business. So, the system will help to reduce waiting time of the customers. They can check the availability of the items before they come to the pharmacy by using the search facility provided in the pharmacy web site.

Prisoners’ management in Kisii Prison had long been a neglected area and had only recently been included in the 2030 vision document under the e-governance. Currently, prisoner’s records are maintained in a very rudimentary way in the form of manual files and registers. This method of data management often resulted in human error, delay to retrieve information etc. Thus, An Prison Management System was designed and implemented to manage prisoner’s records for the Kilgoris prison. The project was implemented successfully and the result obtained provides a single management system which integrates all the information about a prisoner in a single profile and can easily be accessed which improved the overall efficiency of prison management.

Real estate management system project report
This is a system of the computerized approach to improve record keeping and management decision-making practices of a real estate agency. The system was designed to improve on the efficiency of such a company’s management through easy and quick access to all records. The computer package is named REMIS. The REMIS system has modules that provide tools to analyze data and make inferences about the data for management decision-making. REMIS also provides a centralized management of a company’s data by storing it in a database system where the data is managed by the database management system and all access to the data is through the database management system providing a key to effective data processing. This also reduces redundancies, making data management more efficient. The system takes in sample/population data and calculates descriptive statistics like mean, variance, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, and the mean absolute deviation. This helps avoid the possible human errors of computing statistics thereby becoming reliable. The system also takes in sample bivariate values for random variables and makes calculations for the Pearson product moment linear correlation coefficient and the linear regression line that can be used for testing the relationship that exists between two random variables and forecasting respectively. The package also takes in table values to calculate Chi-square tests, a non-parametric test of statistical significance for bivariate tabular analysis. Any appropriately performed test of statistical significance lets you know the degree of confidence you can have in accepting or rejecting a hypothesis. The REMIS also offers secure storage of a company’s data by ensuring that only authorized users use the system and providing backup facilities for the data. In summary, a real time record keeping and analysis system was realized from the study. The system will be a web-based application that can be accessed through desktop devices and through user mobile phones. Tools that may be used in the development of the web-based system will be sublime text that will be the IDE to be used. Languages that will be applicable in this IDE is HTML, PHP, and JavaScript. This is so because they can be easily implemented in the said IDEs. The DBMS to be used for the system will be MySQL.

This project, therefore, proposes a rental property management system to market and advertise rental property. Advertisement starts before the current tenant moves out when they serve a notice. The proposal expounds more on the challenges in the sector, works that have been done before regarding the challenges being faced and how the project proposes to reduce the challenges facing rental property management. The system will be a web-based application that can be accessed through desktop devices and through user mobile phones. Tools that may be used in the development of the web-based system will be sublime text or Atom that will be the IDE to be used. Languages that will be applicable in this IDE is HTML, PHP, and JavaScript. This is so because they can be easily implemented in the said IDEs. The DBMS to be used for the system will be MySQL. This is preferred because it is easy to use as compared to oracle.

Their customer base is growing day by day because of their location and quality of their food. Even though this is a small restaurant, the service they are offering is huge. With the growing customer base, it is difficult to offer services to all of them manually. Therefore, this restaurant requires to move to a computerized solution. This will help to run their operations smoothly and in more efficient manner. Suggested system allows Village Park restaurant to increase the scope of the business with the little staff they have. As this is a growing business which is in its first stage, they still cannot go for more staff. Current trend is also going for an online solution. This system allows restaurant to quickly and easily manage online menus and customers can navigate and place orders really fast. Restaurant staff also quickly view orders and prepare orders without previous miscommunication. Graphical interfaces are really efficient and effective for both customers and restaurant staff. For the managers and owners this system is very effective because they can view their requirements in reporting module. This system has used Object Oriented approaches have been used in developing. For analysis and design, Uniform resource modeling was used. PHP, HTML, JavaScript has used to develop the website. MySQL has been used to create to databases. Lanka hosting space was used to host the website. Any web browser such as Edge, Chrome, Firefox can be used to access the website in any environment such as windows or Linux.

Stadium tickets management system project report
The problem identified is the absence of a Stadium ticketing system to assist the clients and spectators in the process of ticketing. This comes along with problems such as fake tickets, poor security and overcrowding at the gates. The proposed solution is to develop a web-based system to help in management of the stadiums during games. The proposed system will have features such as a log in page, a sign-up page, a home page and a contact us page where the users can reach out in case of a problem. To avoid fake tickets, the system will have the purchased tickets sent to the spectators’ emails as soon as the purchase is complete. Thereafter, during entry into the stadium, the tickets will be verified and the spectators will go in. The system design approach for this proposed system is Object Oriented Analysis and Design, and the methodology is Rapid Application Development (RAD); this methodology allows for feedback from the user. It also allows the system to be developed in modules. The programming language used is PHP as it is a web-based application system. MySQL has been used for the database due to its reliable speed and compatibility with web development.

Supermarket management system project report
The purpose of this project was to develop a Supermarket management system for Menyenikwa Main Supermarket. The researcher collected data through interviewing the company's employees and customers/clients met at the Supermarket's main branch, and observing how the previous system was functioning from where I based myself to come up with the project report and system. Because of the nature of this study, data was further collected from secondary sources like literature review. Results from data collected indicated that the system being used was inefficient in tracking, storage and retrieval of supermarket sales and stock information which led to delays in decision making for the management. Therefore to solve the above problem I designed, implemented, tested and validated a well-functioning Supermarket management system for Menyenikwa Main Supermarket. The system developed is now able to efficiently track, store and retrieve supermarket sales against stock information in a timely and convenient fashion, thus decision making was enhanced. The research examined ways of expanding the product selling systems to improve of existing systems.
