effects of compensation and benefit package on employees’ turnover and job satisfaction at Equity Bank, Nairobi , Kenya- hrm research project
The purpose of this research was to assess the effects of compensation and benefit package on employees’ turnover and job satisfaction at Equity Bank, Nairobi , Kenya . To achieve this objective, both qualitative and quantitative data were collected from 91 employees who were selected using simple random sampling technique. Questionnaires and interviews were used to collect data from employees of Equity Bank working in the Head office. Once the data were collected, they were coded, edited, and analyzed. The major findings indicated that in Equity Bank there are different compensation packages such as salary, transport allowance, hardship allowance, telephone allowance, etc. The bank is good at providing annual leave. However, it is weak in the following benefit packages: providing food and beverage to its employee, establishing employee clubs and implementing weak talent management practices, this means the existence of ineffective, redundant and not carrier related training practices. On the other hand, there are different other major problems. Employees do not participate in compensation and benefit decision-making process. Additionally, poor work environment and work culture prevail at the bank. These all may decrease job satisfaction and increase staff turnover. It can then be concluded that most of the respondents were not satisfied with the existing compensation and benefit packages because of the aforementioned reasons. Finally, the all findings lead to the thought that Equity Bank S.C. has to review its current compensation and benefit package in order to retain employees for long period of time (decrease turnover) and increase their job satisfaction.

ONLINE VEHICLE PARKING RESERVATION SYSTEM PROJECT REPORT
The Online Vehicle Management Reservation System (OVPRS) is a system that enables customers/drivers to reserve a parking space. It also allows the customers/drivers to view the parking status at kyebando people’s park. It was developed because the congestion and collision of the vehicle, thesystem was developed for Kyebando People’s Park located in Kyebando. Therefore the project aimed at solving such problems by designing a web based system that will enable the customers/drivers to make a reservation of available parking space at people’s park. The requirements for the developed system were collected using observation and interviewing the customer and staff member from Kyebando people’s park. The data from interviews was analyzed using Microsoft Excel so as to come up with the functional, non- functional and system requirements. These requirements were later used to design the system by creating data flow diagrams and entity relationship diagrams. The designed system was implemented using different development tools which include HTML for creating interfaces, CSS for styling wed pages ,JavaScript, and Jquery for dynamism in the web pages and as an input validation tool.XAMMP was used to build the database and PHP used as a server side scripting language to connect the user interfaces to the database. The system was tested by the researchers for errors. For source code contact makorikerecha@gmail.com

RENOVATION OF DARAJA MBILI BRIDGE PROJECT REPORT
Kisii is County of one thousand hills and contain infrastructure such as roads building, Bridge etc, some of these hills provide an unstable slope which need to be retained so the earth retaining wall and slope treatment is one solution of these unstable slopes is why it is on slope which is on located near road Keroka- Nyangusu Road in Nyamache district, Nyamache Sub- County Hospital in Nyanza Province. The main objective of this research is to design retaining wall for to retain soil near road as better solution. To achieve the goals, some analyses have been done and the software most used were Google earth, Auto CAD and Microsoft word and excel. In addition, laboratory tests such as direct shear test to measure the shear strength parameters where cohesion and friction angle obtained showed that the soil is not cohesive. According to the result found, the analysis and design of retaining wall have been made. The reinforced retaining wall has been designed, and it has been analyzed and design for stability requirements, the lateral earth pressure, checking against overturning, sliding and bearing capacity have been verified and earth retaining wall is found to be stable in the proposed location; the cohesion obtained is 0KN/m2, unit weight of soil is 18.9KN/m3 and friction angle of 440 and safe bearing capacity is 600kN/m2;safety against sliding 2.4 >1.5 and factor of safety against overturning4.36>2andfactor of safety against bearing capacity failure Qmax=158.62 KN/m2<qall where < 600 KN/m2 the total cost of this project of 50m length and 7m height.
