Description
Tour- refers to a journey taken from a place of origin to a destination, often for pleasure or a specific purpose. Lasts for more than 24hrs but less than a year.
Trip- refers to any journey from one place to another, regardless of duration or purpose. Can be short or long, planned or spontaneous, for leisure, work, or other reasons.
Excursion- a short journey or outing with a specific purpose, often for leisure, education, or exploration. Lasts less than a day and is often part of a larger trip or vacation. Implies temporary return to the starting point after the outing.
Travel- refers to the act of moving from one place to another, usually over a significant distance.
Tourism- encompasses the activities of people traveling to and staying in places outside their usual environment for leisure, business, or other purposes, for less than one consecutive year. It includes the provision of services to enable these activities.
