In these modern days’ people have become so much concerned about their health and diet; it is but
obviously that they seek out for gym. The system is developed for Vision SPA Gym situated at
Kisii town, Kisii county. Gym is equipped with all the modern machineries and other supportive
items to provide a better service to its customers. So the numbers of members are tent to increase
day by day and Gym Management has decided to go for an IT solution in order to handle the
increased volumes.
Software is developed with the aim of replacing the current manual system which was using at the
Gym. The system supposed to provide easy access of the resources of the gym to its members
while empowering the management process of the gym. Following major functionalities such as
member management, attendance management, charges management, maintenance management
and reports generation were identified. Access control was achieved with the user name and
password. User access levels were also implemented to control the accessibility of the system.
System was developed with PHP, apache, MySQL. XAMMP was used for the development
sublime text was used as the editing tool throughout. Final product is tested thoroughly and
delivered to the end user on agreed date. Currently the system is on live in Delvin Fitness Hubat
Kisii Town the system is used by the members and the administration in a satisfied manner.

During the end of study project, intern’s need to keep their supervisor updated about their daily routine of the project and the work progress by writing it and pastes any attachment. Finally, the final work will be examined by university supervisor and a jury of professors and professionals. Our Internship Management System is a management system built to automate the process of collecting, reviewing and managing applications for internships as well as managing the ongoing lifecycle of the project.

The Laundry Management System (LMS) is specifically developed for Oltalet Mail Narok Laundry Shop. This application is developed to manage the laundry service and provide an automated backup and recovery for security management of information in the laundry. It is a client-server system which can only be access within the user manager. Only authorized user can login into the system and view the LMS application. The manager will maintain the backup and recovery and user privilege to view the system. Besides that, clerk's responsibility is to manage the customers and laundry service record, also the payment record. Furthermore, the laundress is to view customers' record and their services. Then, the manager of this laundry can view and update all the record in laundry. On the other hand, this LMS application is focused more on database management of laundry service besides maintaining the backup and recovery for the records in the database.
The methodology of this system is System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) which is prototyping model. An analysis study has been done based on the current manual system and all the problems statements and requirements have been identified. Moreover, LMS is two-tier architecture system which involves client tier and application server tier which includes a database. The interfaces for LMS have been designed according to the requirement and needs of the current market. This Laundry Management System (LMS) will help to improve the performance of current situation and overcome the problems that arise nowadays.
