Demography is scientific study of human population in respect to its static and dynamic aspects. Static aspects are characteristics at a point in time i.e. age, marital status, economic status etc. Dynamic aspects are characteristics that change over time i.e. fertility, mortality and migration patterns. Demography is also defined as study of human population n respect to size, distribution and change caused by demographic processes that include fertility, mortality and migrations.
