Health is complete state of physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity The goals of public health are similar to the goals of HIV/AIDS education to student in tertiary institutions and they include:-- a) To prevent human disease, injury, and disability b) Protect people from environmental health hazards c) Promote behaviors that lead to good physical and mental health d) Educate the public about health; and assure availability of high-quality health services.

Educational Measurement and Evaluation (PSY 311) is a 3rd Year, Second Semester course which requires knowledge of course PSY 210 and PSY 310, both of which deal with aspects of measurement and evaluation in psychological testing.

The course is intended to familiarize students with the various pollutants and their interaction within the environment. A detailed review of the chemical concepts of environmental chemistry will be tackled and advanced applications such as ozone depletion, treatment of pollutants and green chemistry. A detailed account of the chemical processes of the atmosphere, lithosphere and hydrosphere and effects of pollutants on these processes and the biosphere will be reviewed.
