on the twelfth chromosome
Causing an inherited metabolic disease that passes through
families. It is rare condition characterized by the deficiency in the
enzyme (Phenylalanine Hydroxylase).
Normally: phenylalanine tyrosine by liver enzyme phenylalanine
hydroxylase (PAH)
